Alltel and Samsung join hands to introduce a phone with wide range of colors, Samsung SCH-r600 or also known as Samsung Hue II. It earned it’s name due to the Fastap Press-to-Experience keys that make for faster composition of text messages. It combines six one-touch, easy-access keys with a standard alphanumeric keypad, giving you quick access to services and apps.

Specs wise, the Hue II sports a 2.2-inch screen, A-GPS, Bluetooth, music player with dedicated control keys, 2 megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, email app, 54MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD cards. The device measures 3.8×1.9×0.7 inches and has a weight of 3.4 ounces. After version 1.3 of Facebook available last week, it was the turn of version 1.5 to talk about it. FaceBook for BlackBerry version 1.5 is targeted for a January 2009 release, and will include the deeper integration with Facebook while maintaining the unique push features offered in current application.

New features in Facebook 1.5 for BlackBerry include:
Access & Manage Facebook Phone Book - view friends phone numbers, request friends phone numbers, publish your phone number and even add numbers to your BlackBerry address book.
New Account Creation - create a new Facebook account directly from your BlackBerry.
Facebook Birthday & BlackBerry Calendar Link - automatically import & link friends birthdays to your BlackBerry Calendar.
Facebook Event Calendar & Blackberry Calendar Link - save Facebook events into your BlackBerry Calendar. Facebook events will be a different color and an event reminder notification can even be set up.
Facebook version 2.0 is also in the works, but that is scoped for later in the year as part of BIS 2.7, along with newer versions of the Flickr and MySpace app

AT&T Exclusive touch screen design! The LG INCITE is a global 3G smartphone for simultaneous voice and data on the nation’s fastest 3G network. Word on the street is that AT&T stores will be ordering the LG Incite as of this Thursday.

If the rumored specs hold up, we’re looking at a WQVGA display, 3-megapixel cam, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It is going be sold to the tune of $299.99 on contract before a $100 mail-in rebate on a Visa gift card.
