A PHOTO A DAY

from a "click and hope" photographer

30/09/07

I've decided to temporarily suspend this blog; the last week has made me realise how much extra time I've had; it takes a long for me to find one of my photos and a quote to go with it. Hopefully once my college course is over and I have some of my other problems resolved I'll be able to come back to it. I can't express enough my thanks to all of my regular visitors; I hope that you'll still join me on Me, My Life, My Garden.

I'll be off the Internet for a few days while my PC visits the doctor.

not very well

It's not on top form at the moment and I'm going to need it a lot in the future both for research and for typing up my assignments. All being well I'll be back on Sunday.

“Resolve to edge in a little reading every day, if it is but a single sentence.

If you gain fifteen minutes a day, it will make itself felt at the end of the year.”
~Horace Mann~

Tenderness contains an element of sadness. It is not the sadness of feeling sorry for yourself or feeling deprived, but it is a natural situation of fullness. You feel so full and rich, as if you were about to shed tears. Your eyes are full of tears, and the moment you blink, the tears will spill out of your eyes and roll down your cheeks. In order to be a good warrior, one has to feel this sad and tender heart. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
