How happy I am

Open your heart and your mind

Share your blessing

Keep on believing that dreams do come true

Know your strengths and weakness

Shoulder all your responsibilities

Learn to laugh… learn to listen… and most of all

Learn how to trust

If you learn how to accept your mistakes

It will guide you to show your ideas, concern, care, and love

You will able to lighten up someone’s day

If you learn to find time to listen to others sorrow

You will cherished the day

You will find your goal

You will see the happiness in your heart

Happiness is somewhere there in your heart

It is a God’s given gift

Happiness is not how the world demonstrate it

It is a sense of forgiven and love

You could only find true happiness

If you imprinted in your mind that God is always there

He is there not only in the mind but also in the heart and spirit

You can say in yourself “How happy I am!!!”

When you are ignored

Tuesday, March 04, 2008

A few hours ago I was reading some of the forum I used to visit. Most of the time teen’s outcry catches my attention. One of the consistent distresses of those teenagers is being ignored by someone. Actually not only the teen’s but all of us, young and old we are all afflicted to this kind of trouble. Now being ignored by someone you like, or someone special causes disappointment and low esteem. It creates doubts and negative attitude to a person.

If a person cherish this kind circumstances, he/she will not discover that we are important and valuable to God. In God’s eye we are beautiful, no matter what other people may think about us or what other problem we may face. In Isaiah 43:1-2 bible said “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” So when we feel being ignored by someone, thinks about God, think about his promises, and think about His love. God never ever ignore us, He will stand beside us. God will help us on right direction which leads to a right person.

Feeling empty inside

Tuesday, February 26, 2008

Life is not always like breathing fresh air which is full of lovely things. Sometimes people breathe but the truth they are not; they just like a leaf floating a river, flowing with a system of this world. Usually we turn our way into dancing to vanished sadness, but the truth is we are all longing for something. This something turns in a feeling of emptiness inside.

Some of us are lucky enough; they have everything in this world. They get everything they wanted and they may be prosperous outwardly. Even though they are satisfied feeding the outward side of their bodies, still they are bored with life and feel empty inside…. If they are honest…. The real facts, we are feeding our bodies with a lot of things and our minds with knowledge, and yet we starving our soul. Most of the time people forget that they have spiritual needs. Because of this truth we are habitually feel empty. And we asked ourselves… what is wrong with me? Where do I turn on? What and how am I going to do to get out of this feeling?

In order for us to escape in this kind of nightmare, we need to realize that we are not only have a body and mind, but we have a spiritual side to as well, because God created us with a soul. Whether we like it or not, the soul yearns for God. And satisfying this kind of yearning by means of our personal strength is not attainable. Only God can satisfy the inner longing of every human being. God created us in His own likeness and image (Gen. 1:26) because of this we are designed to have a personal relationship with Him. If we neglect Him or leave Him out of our lives, we are creating a blank space in our hearts. This instance is not quite remarkable. Sometimes we don’t care especially if we are busy or if we are happy and content in all our physical needs. But sadly speaking, if we continue neglecting the yearning of the soul, this yearning slowly defecate our heart which is not easily fade, because only God can fill the emptiness of the heart.

God actually wants us to know Him. He wants to bring peace and joy in our lives. God really love us. This is the reason why He brought Christ in this world. For us to be save and feel the presence of God. (1 Peter 3:18) In Rev. 3:20 He said “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and open the door, I will go in and eat with him, and he with me.” Now, it is our decision. It is all up to us. If are going to open or not.

Genealogical chart from Noah to Abraham

After the flood, it is a new beginning for Noah and his family. In Noah’s family the human race was continued. Noah and Naamah had three sons: Shem, Japheth, and Ham. Shem is the elder among the sons of Noah. He represents the people from the East. Japheth is the second son and He represents the people of the West and North. Lastly, Ham the youngest among the son’s of Noah. He represents those of the South.

Now, the account of Noah’s and Ham’s is sin after the flood are part of the pattern of the early chapter of Genesis, showing that after the blessing there often comes sin and cursing. For that reason selected a particular family to bless and to use in the generation ahead.

Nimrod came from the descendant of Ham. The famous Nimrod is the son of Cush, grandson of Ham. He was the mighty warrior of earth. He is the hunter before the Lord. Nimrod started his kingdom in Babylon. Also He is Gilgamesh due to the parallelism between the Gilgamesh and Nimrod in which many scholars agreed. Aside from this the tower of Babel is often attribute to him. Moving forward to Gen. 10:13 this verse indicates that the Philistine people came from the descendant of Ham. Ham descendant consider very wicked people and forever enemy of Israel.

In Luke genealogy Araphaxad is the son of Shem and father of Shelah. Erab is the son of Shelah and the ancestor of Hebrew. In Gen 10:21, 25-30 he is the father of all semites. Gen 11:28 states that Terah is a Chaldeans. So, Abraham born in Ur, but his original home was known in Israel (Josh 24:2). He was originally come from Ur of the Chaldeans. In verse 31-32 of Genesis 11, Abraham and his family settled for a time in Haran on their way to Canaan. Through Abraham the scripture charts a new course for God’s people.

Spot the dot

Monday, January 21, 2008

Virtually all people agree that dot portrait speck. Like the dartboard, red consider as speck or we can call it as a bullseye. We use the dot as a visual image of a target to point out or describe the very center of something. Finding a dot in the center is very essential not only in the games but also in making a decision in life.

The life of every individual is like a circle. Once we are created (born) and then sooner or later we are going to face our creator. Meaning we are formed by God out the dust of the ground (Gen. 2:7), and we are going back in the dust whether we like it or not. (Eccl. 3:20). Within a large circle of our life, the center of it is a dot which presents the will of God for us. If we are apart from God’s will, we are now like living in a God’s permissive will which is not a perfect will, but just a second best.

Sometimes we are totally forgotten that the will of God is certain and detailed, because we see the dot not in a 20/20 vision. In short we doubt. Visualizing the dot in a dim way is like pinching the heart. We are betting for the second best but not for the perfect one. If we continue to this kind of course, we are basically relying in our own wisdom. This is not a winning path, but this is a path of destruction. So, at the end of the road we have gained nothing, but a broken heart, extreme sorrow, and lastly regrets.

Now, if looking for a dot in a clear vision is like building a pillar. It wouldn’t easily destroy but instead it will bring hope, contentment, and wisdom for every one…..

Monotheism

Thursday, January 17, 2008

The word monotheism comes from two Greek words - monos meaning "one" and theos meaning "God". Monotheism is a belief of the existence of one God, the creator of world. Monotheism was the original religion of mankind, as not only the bible, but also Ebla Tablets and studies of preliterate tribes. This particular belief is embraced by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

In Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This is a very first verse in Bible clearly indicates the monotheistic view of God. The patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob reflect an early monotheism. Job 1.1 also point out that even before the pre-Mosaic period the bible teaches that monotheism was the earliest conception of God. Aside from the Bible, Ebla in Syria is one of the oldest relevant records. They divulge a clear statement of monotheism stand, declaring, “Lord of heaven and earth, the earth was not, you created it, the light of day was not, you created it, the morning light you had not made exist” (Pettinato, The Archives of Ebla, 259).
