Where to find Lady Rose - daily blog Diet Pulpit, and also at her new blog Stir the Cauldron)
LADY ROSE IS STILL BLOGGING (and getting healthy) HERE (or click image below):

AS OF JAN. 1, 2008 INCRECIBLE SHRINKGING LADIES BLOG WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED - I have decided it is just too much to maintain so many blogs, so I will be focusing my blog writing at the DIET PULPIT - all updates, weighins, reviews, info., silliness, etc. can be found there. I also guest write on a few blogs around the web, so who knows where you’ll find me.
Part of my New Year’s resolution is less stress as well as being true to myself and doing what I enjoy but not over doing it. Since I also want to maintain daily and quality blogging it is just impossible to maintain two quality blogs, work full time, have time with my family, and work on other creative projects I enjoy. Incredible Shrinking Ladies has served it’s purpose and it’s time to move on and focus my energy on the Diet Pulpit blog. I hope you will all join me there as I continue on my journey to health and fitness.
Feel free to visit all the main blogs of the Incredible Shrinking Ladies who joined us here (see our links below and in the right column). I want to thank all of them for their contributions here.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year.

**********************************
How it all began: Mama Kelly and Lady Rose (best friends in real life for almost 20 years) had been blogging for a few months separately, then in early 2006 they started a blog together (Purple Moon Garden - which later became 2 Witches Blog). May 1, 2006 they created another joint blog “The Incredible Shrinking Ladies” to record their journey and adventures along the road to getting healthy. It began May 1, 2006 as a blog of two best friends on a journey to regain their health and lose over 100 lbs each. In July 2007, they invited several wonderful ladies they had gotten to know online to join in the fun and share their stories, wisdom, and inspiration.

I was just reading about the Livatone Plus supplement and found your page. Have you noticed or seen any results from taking it?
Thanks!
September 1, 2006 at 11:36 am
Steph I think the Livatone is helping. I have a lot less pressure and bloating under the rib cage (which is where the liver is located). That area is also less sore to the touch. I plan on taking the tablets the entire time I am dieting, since it makes sense that while loosing weight I don’t want it to build up in the liver and hopefully the fatty liver I already have is getting better as well.
One of the reasons I really do believe it is helping is because I saw first hand how milk thistle helped my mother in law - she was suppose to die within a few months from heart and liver problems - she was bed ridden and we took care of her for over a year. Once she left our care and stopped taking the milk thistle, she passed away within a few months from liver complications. Milk thistle is one of the main ingredients in the Livatone.
Take care, Lady Rose

Hi Lady Rose,
Your recipe for Baked Apple Pancake looks great, wonder if you could simply bake it in a small casserole dish as well, more like a cake. I’m gonna give it a try.

To fight back, The Challenge has enlisted more than 50 leaders from the community and national civic & health organizations. It visits Washington, DC, Baltimore, Miami, Memphis, Cleveland, Houston, Detroit, Milwaukee, Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, New York, Oakland & New Orleans.

How funny, I was just thinking last night, “How am I going to come up with something new to post to Shrinking Ladies? Life’s so busy and I closed a couple of my blogs recently too. I need to stick to mostly one or I lose sight of other projects.
It was a blast while it lasted! Blessings to all, Carol
