Hilary Duff is all grown up and says she’s ready to be on the small screen again, more specifically on NBC. She told Tim Kash at Total Finale Live:

“Well, right now it’s a development deal. We’re going to be working together to try to put a great show together. It’s not like I know what the material is going to be yet.”

Duff joked:

“I get to call all the shots! I think I would like to do something funny, so probably a comedy. It’s hard to sit here and say, ‘I want to be this character and this character.’

I would like to do something funny … or I would like to kick ass or something, [I'd want to] be some kind of ? not a superhero, but some young person that’s empowering and that does something no one expects from her, like take care of problems.”

Hillary said she’s also interested in doing some guest appearances:

“[NBC has] great shows to have arcs on. I would love to do something on ‘The Office.’ ‘30 Rock’ is great, very funny. Many people have done lots of guest spots on it this season.”

It’s hard to imagine her on a TV show like “The Office” rather than doing “Lizzie Maguire,” so it’s going to take some getting used to if she does a more adult-type role.

In an interview with Extra (via OK!), Miley Cyrus opens up about her thoughts on some other guys, John Mayer and Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford. She said she “would actually love to co-write with John Mayer,” and points out that Chace Crawford “is pretty cute. Not really a crush. I just think he’s good looking.”

Aw, how sweet. Although Miley seems to be pretty happy with her boy toy Justin Gaston, she still notices other guys. Good luck on collaborating with John Mayer…I think she’d be better off collaborating with Jennifer Aniston instead.

Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin believes he’s getting too old for music so he’s planning to quit next year, according to Female First. He said:

“I’m 31 now and I don’t think bands should keep going past 33.

So we’re trying to pack in as much as possible. Up until the end of next year, we’ll just go for it in every sense. I don’t believe in time off.”

He also added:

“The reason we’re the biggest band in the world at the moment is because the others are on holiday. We’ve still got our own hair, we can still fit into our musical trousers and we’ve got to make the most of that.”

I hope he’s joking about the age thing. I don’t care if he wants to retire, but to suggest that bands shouldn’t keep going past 33 is pretty lame.

Come on, we all know she had the affair, but now Mindy McCready has decided to touch up on the subject and give HER side of the story. Mindy has given her first interview after getting out of jail with Inside Edition, but it seems she’s a bit confused.

“I’ve lived life recklessly,” she explained. “I’ve made a lot of mistakes.”

According to Inside Edition she left Roger Clemens when he wouldn’t divorce his wife and marry her. Of course according to what she told New York Daily News she never wanted to marry him. Hmm, I doubt that’s true.

Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has reportedly stepped forward to support gay marriage, according to Contact Music. Many celebrities joined in the fight against the discriminatory initiative in California, Prop 8 which bans same sex marriage including: Josh Brolin, Christina Aguilera, Sir Elton John, and Pete Wentz. Slash and his wife even went as far as to make a video where he plays the national anthem and his wife Perla Hudson says:

“I married my sweetheart, you should be able to marry yours too. Say no to hate and yes to equal rights. Keep up the fight.”

That’s awesome. It’s great to see everyone coming forward to fight discrimination.

Former contestant on ABC’s reality TV show The Bachelor, Mary Delgado, who ended up engaged to Byron Velvick during the 2004 season was reportedly arrested again, according to Star magazine.

Her first arrest was due to a battery charge after she assaulted her fiance Byron last year in November. He explained that he was slapped in the face so hard it caused a split lip. Ouch! Not surprisingly, they didn’t stay together.

The former NFL cheerleader was arrested on Sunday in Del Rio, Texas on charges of “disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting arrest” after refusing to leave a local bar.

It sounds like someone needs to go to rehab! How sad.
