Hello all,
We haven’t been around likely. We’ve been busy moving into a new house. Last weekend was the first weekend there. I made dessert for my children. This time we tried our hand at Pot de Creme au Chocolat
1 package of Sweet Chocolate
1 1/4 cup light cream or half & half
1/4 cup sugar
6 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
Heat chocolate, cream, and sugar in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Blend a small amount of the hot mixture into egg yolks; stir into remaining hot mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Add vanilla and pour into pot de creme cups. Chill until set, about 3 hours. Garnish with chocolate curls, if desired.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
