Emo Bands "It was great to finally find a NON poser indie site.thank the lord!" ♥ Billie D., Australia
"OMFG this is so cool. i have NEVER come across a site like this! Ah the love is awesome." ♥ Jessica Mcree, Earth
*Update: Starting May 7th, my penpals will be automatically included in a monthly drawing to win unique clothing & t-shirts by little-known designers I've coerced into being my bitch lovers. Try as you might, you can't find head-turning apparel like this in stores.
We like these shirts (and they like to sell their shirts to indie kids like you and me). So there you go, a match made in heaven.
BustedTees.com - Shirts as low as $5.99.
House of Emo was fashioned out of raw code to help emo kids & complete posers find each other and everything else they're hot for. Namely the emo fashions and music you love. We will do this mainly through occasional emo band and concert reviews, fashion tips, pictures and profiles of sexy emo kids like you--even bad poetry. And yes, we're totally gay for hot emo boys and girls.
Monday, July 28, 2008 at 05:06PM We could start with all the boring stuff like "My parents bought me a guitar when I was nine and I was greatly inspired to create beautiful music" or I could say "I saw Led Zepplin on the TV when I was 5 and thought "Wow, I wanna play music when I grow up" and although both of those are true...

In yet one more example that artists no longer need music labels, over 70,000 unsigned artists and small music labels, comprising over 450,000 uploaded tracks, will begin earning ongoing royalties from the popular music streaming service. As of July 8th, artists will receive 30% of the "Share" of Last.fm’s "Net Revenues" from the on-demand
radio service.

Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 05:26AM You've heard the song. You've heard the spoofs. But guaranteed, you haven't heard this funny version of the "No Handlebars" song before I have. On the way home from work today I was treated to The Blobots brazenly unique twist on the "No Handlebars" song we all know and love. What makes the Blobots spoof awesome is that it's about my hometown, Roseville, California. You've gotta listen to it!
Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 02:31AM I'm sick and tired of seeing these poser emo sites popping up like opium fields for the masses. They make me want to cut some fool. Therefore, I want you to help make 2008 the best year ever for House of Emo, the original emo community. House of Emo is looking for writers/bloggers, band reviewers, photographers and music fans to join the House of Emo team in 2008.
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 10:26PM So, unless you've been hiding under a rock, you already know that megastore Tower Records has gone up in smoke. Once a haven for indie musicians and unsigned bands of all sorts, Tower Records has been on a slow and inevitable decline ever since it's founder, Russell Solomon, was gently ousted as the company's Chairman.
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 07:30PM Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Everybody Hurts, the Essential Guide to Emo Culture hit book stores early last month, much to the delight of hopeless emo kid wannabes everywhere.
Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 03:32AM You probably have to be over 18 to read this. You're over 18, right? I thought so. Among the millions of websites with pornographic content out there, there are countless ones dedicated to military studs, interracial sex, intergenerational sex. If you look hard enough, you can even find a handful of twink sites (young looking, legal boys having sex), but there's no emo porn in sight!
Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 09:37AM I recently got to do an interview with Pierce and Josh, the dynamic duo that is Press Return. This emo-ish indie outfit from New Paltz, NY is booking a tour with Tiger of Paris from December 29 to January 7th. Press Return's unique stripped down "six strings and vocal chords" approach to their music is beginning to attract attention, recently even landing them a spot in the Small Band Round Up on AbsolutePunk.net.
Monday, October 16, 2006 at 01:41AM Maybe I'm the last person on earth to hear this song. Certainly I'm the only person alive who doesn't watch mtv. However, I thought I'd post about this just in case there are a couple more of you out there like me who tend to be oblivious to most of the cool videos floating around the internet.
Friday, September 8, 2006 at 03:44AM In My Chemical Romance news, remember in my last post when I told you I wasn't impressed with the bands new song, Welcome to the Black Parade? Maybe I'm just being an insolent little emo kid who's doting on his sweetheart, but hear me out. Then you can watch a cool video interview with the band and tell me what you think.
