HabboWood

Habbos can look at the "new" HabboWood in two completely different ways... "HabboWood has been revived!" or "HabboWood has been killed."

Last year's HabboWood was small compared to this, and much more of a nice extra competition. However, this year's HabboWood consists less of originality, and mre of ruthless advertising. Habbo is literally asking people to spam others' emails, IMs, rooms, and the like. This is an obvious, powerful, and large twist. I have known other websites to have competitions on design and the like, but never have I seen them literally ask their users to ruthlessly advertise their own, and get people to vote against their competition.

The new layout for making Habbo Movies is wonderful, and I would have loved to show my creative side, and then see if it gets any votes; however, I know that that will not be the case seeing as the way things are run, creativity means nothing. Only popularity and advertising skills matter.

Now, if Sulake is going to make people advertise for it, and make people watch the movies, it might want to keep them clean, but Habbo fails at that too. The "bobba" filter is non-existant in the movies, and therefore, plenty of dirty movies are cropping up. Sulake should think with the customer in mind, not themself. So that's my blog for the day! See yo uin the hotel!

The Dragon's Lair

Today I decided I was going to chill out in the Dragon's Lair, for that is one place that I know I am safe from Habbo's who are begging to get banned. While the atmosphere was nice, the fountain beautiful, and the lighting perfect, there wasn't much more to it.

The conversation wasn't bustling initially (there were a couple of couples whispering in the room), but eventually the dance floor got lit up, and Habbos began to start a little calm party. Naturally, after dancing my tail off, I got a bit thirsty, but Omar, the service man, was not very responsive. It took me minutes to get anything, which was very disappointing. But anyway, I enjoyed myself, although the sevice was disappointing.

However, I am currently busy looking around for an old friend (Craig! Where are you?) and failing, so I need to get back to that. Before I leave, here is a screenshot (SULAKE MADE THE PROGRAM, AND I NEED TO CONFIRM THAT TO BE IN LINE WITH COPYRIGHT LAWS) of me in the early times of Dragon's Lair, before the dance started!

Starbucks

Today I had a blast, checking out the big rooms around the hotel. A lot of the big rooms were tasteless shows of Habbo wealth, but some were true gems, and I think this week, I'll focus on the big rooms.

The big room which I spent time in today was Starbucks, designed by Valen7ine. This room made use of the "area" furniture collection, light brown coloring, aqua colored Plasto, and other decorations (including, of course, mocha masters.)

When I initially entered, there was a nice little conversation going on in the lower area of the room, and it unfortunately ended when one Habbo decided to whip out a chainsaw, ruining the atmosphere of the place with his violent actions. However, I remained there, along with a couple other Habbos, although the previous atmosphere had been broken. I hope that other Habbo readers of this blog will try out this room, and enjoy the atmosphere (and boy did that coffee smell good).

Here is a picture of the room, after the chainsaw massacre:
So, thanks for reading this, and leave comments, and see if you bump into me on Habbo Hotel!

Habblog!

Today I decided to make a Habbo-Blog, or a blog in which I document what I go through every day on Habbo Hotel, and give people the chance to make some decisions for me. Here is my main view of the hotel:
Basically, in this blog, people will get to see every little detail of my Habbo life, with the exception of the occasional chat which another Habbo might want a discretion for. However, in guest rooms, I will be recording conversations, posting them, and who knows what other information might pop up on this site! Comments will be read, and considered, so if you have style ideas, room ideas, or requests to meet me, I'll do my best! See everybody later!
